I know that guy you are talking about , Pork , He has not retired , as a matter of fact , he is back full throttle with a lot of new test equipment and does only ham radio stuff. You should try to call him sometime, I hear the only thing he will not work on is those TS-430's , BUT with a little persuasion , he will.

KE4FUS,N4ATS, PORKY, VE3TMT:
I never said I don't need the Wagnall Standard Edition Dictionary, I know I can't spell very well, but I think I do a very good job with out going to the school to learn english. Im sure that 99.5% of what I wrote on this forum you guys understand (If wasn't that way, Im sure I will not get any reply)

On my preview post I wrote:
"I just learning something that I will never sell anything to another buyer with out looking at what they are buying. "
That was a typing error, meaning that (Will not sell anything with out the buyer look at it.)

N4ATS I agree with you I should Turn off "cap locks" button ,so my blood pressure calm down .
Also I need to relax and read what I write before I post it, you are 100% correct
.
But some time people get mad :x :x :x when some one try to put them down.
PORKY... The use of capital letter don't mean been ingnorance is just a way to show a emotion Example of been mad. :x 8)

N4ATS you said ....I am real curious though , define a "real amateur radio operator"
Now this could be defined as one of two ways.
1) The cheap low down scum type operator who has no money to buy quality ham radio equipment , Is this the REAL amateur radio operator?
2)The typical CB'r who changed over to become a REAL amateur radio operator, Is this the REAL amateur radio operator?

Well I think that none of the above choices are the Real Amateur Radio Operator. If you don't know by now who is the Real Amateur Radio Operator I guess you are on the wrong hobbie. Once again "what I mean by is" a "COMMUNICATOR ".

That is what a Real Amateur Radio Operator. A operator that will communicate and have good radio practices, So, is not about have a nice station, about have money or what color, sex, religion or race.
"JUST BE A GREAT COMMUNICATOR"

Now, you guys can make all day long a Soap Opera over these. Once again I sold a lots of Items and never have any complain. I know dip down I am a integrity person. (HONEST).
If I wasn't Honest I will not care less about what it's post on this forum.

PORKY, You said.... I have read the thread and have come to the conclusion that I must have missed the part on my application that stated my financial status was taken into account before I was qualified to become a "Amateur Radio Operator"! Maybe this is a new requirement for the new recruits? I don't know, but had it been a requirement 25 years or so ago I surely would have not been allowed to hold my ticket that I, may I add, cherish deeply.

I never said that money is a requirement to be a Amateur Operator I just said that $115.00 Dollars is a packet change for me, so I no think that is a crime.
I mean by that I not put my self down for $115.00 Dollars or any money because my integrity is more important.

SKIP if you didn't like the items, the only thing you have to do was pick up the phone and call me, or e-mail me. just have something that it is call "COMMUNICATION" and let me know whatever was the problem, b/4 you post anything on this forum. But you didn't try to have any communication with me.

I e-mail and call you on every step of the transaction. Meaning I let you know from point one. "MONEY ORDER RECEIVED" to point two "PACKAGE ON THE WAY".
If I going to rip you off, I just keep the money and package.......
73 every one

Frank , VERY GOOD! I am impressed. You now get the standing ovation. I can tell now you are calm , relaxed and "one of the guys". Very nice write up. Sometimes those other guys need "slammed" a little to ruffle up the feathers. Its ok. Now we can rest because you have been converted. Cheers..
