Beware if contacted by edwardk5ah@gmail.com

I had a "Wanted" ad posted and was contacted by edwardk5ah@gmail.com. He contacted my email directly and not through QTH. I guess he obtained my email from QRZ.com. I looked up K5AH on QRZ.com, but he does not have an email listed. This makes a perfect setup for a scammer, since I can't confirm the email address and I can't contact the real ham either.
My response to his email was that I was still interested in buying what I had posed and requested him to send pictures of the unit with his QSL or hand written paper with his call on it in the picture. He did not respond to my request for pictures.
Every suspected scammer I have asked for pictures of the unit with his QSL in the picture have not been responded to. That is the best way I have found to stop them in their tracks.
This scammer is active on QTH as he also contacted my son who is a ham and also had a "Wanted" ad posted. Again it was a direct contact, not through QTH.
My son played with him a bit and asked about some options that aren't available on the unit he was looking for, but the scammer answered yes, that it had those options. They were crazy options that my son made up that any real ham would know were not valid options.
Please watch out for this guy and also please list your email address on QRZ.com and then use that email address when doing business on QTH.
