I am working that issue right now , I am not sure he has one. He listed a bunch of amplifiers on eBay in the past two weeks before they tossed him. I know a few people theoretically "won" them , but I am sure never received them.

Well coming up on a month since I bought the amp , I have been told 12 times now , it has been shipped , and 11 times it has not been shipped. I have been told 2 times my check was sent back , then 2 times it was not , I was even told that the Fedex label came off the box and he recieved it back. This is a sick puppy that ripped me off...The scum sucker deposited my check as well.

Well it pays to push the issue.
Out of the blue sky , Fedex delivered a near new FL-7000 from Arizona. The Detective finally got to him and I won. The other guy got his amplifier as well , although the two 3-500 tubes were busted , it will do.
Lesson learned: Do homework on eBay users with a "0" rating.

Lesson learned is to read the Safe Trading Tips...where the #1 thing listed is to not to do business with non-hams. Sorry to the non-hams that are out there and doing an honest business... but the VAST majority of rip-offs that I become involved with are with hams sending money to non-hams. Not to say that ham to ham deals don't get "stinky" sometimes, often times they are resolvable.
There is a link called "Safe Trading Tips" at the top of every QTH.com Classified page. Take a moment to read the tips... there are some really good ones there... and this should nearly eliminate the common trading problems found today.
I won't even get into dealing on eBay.
