It is likely there are at least 1,000 Alex Robinsons in England; maybe that number just in London.

Could you be more specific. Better yet, much more specific...

ALEX,
Sent me an E mail wishing to purchase my used gear. He gave me a bogus call. And wanted to purchase with a cashiers check.. I told him to send me the check that I was collecting phoney money. I got no reply. I also forwarded the E mail to scott. He has blocked his ISP number to this site.

Got one from him/her today also. Same thing and not the first. Watch out for KN2NR.........doesn't exist.

Please click "Safe Trading Tips" which is a link on every page of the QTH.com classifieds, and read about the Cashier's Check scam... that is what Alex is trying to pull (very likely not his real name).
