I purchased a Drake L-4B from Al recently, and it was a delightful experience. The amp was "mint" as advertised, and Al did an absolutely magnificent job of packing the whole system in 3 boxes, complete with custom fitted foam packing all around the RF deck. It arrived in pristine condition even earlier than I anticipated after making the trip from Florida to Texas on FedEx Ground. Al had it all packed and ready to go even before my money order arrived, and it left immediately upon receipt of my payment.

Dealing with Al was a very pleasant reminder that there are still a lot of really nice, honorable, and diligent people in the ham community.
