After being inactive for quite a spell I decided to scan the ads for a HF Radio to replace my Kenwood 850S AT. I ran accross Bill's ad for a Yaesu FT-1000 Mark V with 2.4 SSB Filter , TCXO-9 , SP-8 > > >with LL-7 installed plus RH-1 (Remote). Mint and in original boxes. It was advertised as less than 1 year old and was selling for $1800 shipped for all. I emailed and called Bill who was very friendly and helpful explaining in detail the unit he was selling. I decided to purchase it and I have to tell you after receiving it via Fedex and opening the boxes it was everything he said it was. I was very impressed with it's physical condition. It is truly mint condition as if it was purchased new. After I got it all set up I made a contact on the first try to the West Coast with a great signal report. It did help to have a 7 element Yagi up about 75'. I am very pleased and
happy with the sale. What impressed me more is that on the day that it was received via FEDEX Bill called my home to make sure I received it and it was in good working order. Thanks again Bill for a great transaction and I wish all used equipment deals like this would go down always for everyone.
