Scammer posing as K9BB k9bbham@gmail.com

For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

A scammer is looking at the ads and then finding the person's email address by doing a lookup on QRZ, and then sending personal, direct emails (not through the QTH system), trying to scam people.

The scammer is pretending to be K9BB and using the email address of k9bbham@gmail.com.

This Scammer posing as John Heacock K9BB email k9bbham@gmail.com found an old ad of mine on Eham Classifieds & wanted to sell me NOS GU-74B tubes for $200 each. He was claiming they were made in the 2000's! BEWARE & 73, Mike Stephens, N7KR
