Rotor Time - Ken Brownson KT4KI

Post by KA2G »

My adventure with Rotor Time started October 11, 2024, exactly 4 months ago as I type this. Keep that amount of time in mind. I can provide proof of everything I am about to write.

$525 sent immediately. Our deal was for me to send him $525 and my old rotor and control box combo, Ken was to send me a Ham IV and box, and return $100 as sort of a core charge. It was October 22 before the Ham IV was shipped to me, and October 25 when it arrived, at which time I promptly shipped my equipment back to him as promised. October 31 I sent another text message to make sure my equipment had arrived to him, which it had.

Since then it has been one excuse after another regarding him not sending the $100 refund as promised. Out of town, weather, illness, backed up, rinse and repeat for the last few month, even up until yesterday, 2/10/2025 when we seem to have started over at "out of town and backed up.

At this point I have written off the $100. I would recommend being very cautious about doing business with Rotor Time and Ken.

Customer comes to me with the purchase of a ham 4 rotor and controller shipped for 525.00 wanted to trade in his old ham 4 and controller for the 100.00 dollar core trade . He paid the 525.00 and during the Christmas holidays I was late shipping but shipped his like new ham 4 rotor and controller out within the next couple weeks I received his trade in but I was out of town his package on my footsteps a week later after I arrived buyer wanted to know if I had received I told him yes but had not opened . After being sick with pneumonia for the last couple weeks I did manage to open his package. His trade-in was not as said his trading was a rotor of a much lesser value CD 44 trade-in should’ve been another ham 4 for the same. trade-in value is not worth $100 core on a cde 44 rotor only . I only give $25 core trade-in as is . Buyer is demanding his hundred dollars. .
