KB7MM - Beware Bad Buyer!

Post by K4JC »

I had an MFJ power supply listed for sale here on QTH classifieds. Jim purchased it from me via Paypal, and I shipped to him. A couple of weeks later it showed back up on my doorstep. I thought maybe I had sent it to the wrong address and emailed Jim to find out. His reply was, You keep the power supply and return my money (including the shipping fee.) I wasn't too happy about that but said I would. He used Paypal to pay me, but since I don't keep a balance in my PP account I had to transfer the funds in from my bank, which Paypal says takes 3-5 days. I guess Jim is impatient, so he filed a chargeback which has now resulted in an overdraft of my Paypal account. Bottom line: please be wary of dealing with KB7MM.

I'll refrain from commenting on pay pal's policies... Suffice it to say I don't buy nor sell through pay pal.. But something I'd like to know -- What excuse did KB7MM give for returning the power supply??
