Scammer Alert

Post by NNN0BVC »

Several weeks ago posted an ad looking for a Butternut HF5V antenna. Received a response from glennboatwatch73@gmail.com. Turns out this was not Glenn K9TUT but an imposter using a false e-mail address. After sending the requested $300 via postal money order never got the antenna and never got a response from who I thought was K9TUT till I found another e-mail form Glenn and once he and I spoke on the phone I realized I was spammed. The Money Order was sent to Jeanne Victor at 41 Dodd Road Mansfield Center, CT 06250. I followed up with USPS, the check was cashed, and after that any e-mails to glennboatwatch73@gmial.com went unanswered. Now I am out $300 and no antenna. You never think this can happen to you and bam there it is.
